Out of this Web site, started in 1995, grew David Karp’s series of “Windows Annoyances” books published by O’Reilly & Associates. The site provides tips for users of the different versions of Microsoft Windows about overcoming problems and inconveniences with using the operating system. Registered users can post comments, additional advice, and questions in response to original posts and the comments of other users. Annoyances.org includes a glossary and search function.
