Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA)

Bureau of Labor Statistics (US Department of Labor)

United States Historical Census Browser
Use this searchable statistics database to conduct historical Census research spanning the years 1790 to 1960. The information here is gathered in the U.S. Decennial Census. Data are available at the state and county level, and can be selected and organized by a variety of criteria.
US Census Bureau
The Bureau of the Census is the largest publisher of comprehensive statistical data important to business and marketing. Business Statistics of the United States  : Patterns of Economic Change

What used to be a publication produced by the US Department of Commerce's Bureau of Economic Analysis, Bernan Press has continued compiling and publishing since 1992. Use this publication in tandem with online government statistical resources, such as the Economic Census, for researching both current and historical business statistics and economic and industry trends. Contained within are nearly 3,500 economic time series portraying the period since World War II comprehensively. Background information is provided to help the researcher understand the data. Also new to this edition is the Patterns of Economic Change meant to help the researcher understand the historical economic trends in a more direct and easy fashion.
