Open Jurist is a resource for access to the case law of the United States, with approximately 647,000 opinions and other transactions.  They have records for the Supreme Court beginning with the first session in 1790 and for the lower federal courts beginning in 1880.

This  Web site features biographies of all the justices who served on the Supreme Court, information on their opinions, and summaries of cases back to 1792.

Findlaw offers cases from 1893 -- present. This comprehensive database is searchable by citation, party name, or keyword (called full text search). You may also search by volume number (150 - 530) or look through the Opinion Summaries Archives.
