One of the most prolific writers of the 20th and 21st century is Walter Mosley. He is renowned for his Ezekiel "Easy" Rawlings, black private investigator series, the Protagonist, which was published from 1990 to 2007 to his current character Leonid McGill, New York City, Black Private Detective in the 2009 publication of “The Long Fall.”
