Teens at the Library

If you walked into the Roland Park branch on Tuesday July 14, 2009 you may have thought you walked into a dojo. As martial arts cries resounded through the branch, five participants learned basic Self-Defense principles including the Power of Voice (also known as shouting).
Later the same afternoon, Teens created their own designs and the designs were then silk-screened onto the shirts. There were many who “Expressed Themselves” with words, pictures and color.
Keep an eye for other teen programs at the library this summer!
