2010 Census: We're Here to Help

Do your part. Complete the questionnaire.Starting in mid-March, households all across the country will begin receiving their 2010 Census questionnaires in the mail. The questionnaire consists of 10 questions designed to help the federal government learn more about the country's population and its needs. Full community participation helps government agencies better gauge the level of economic support a community will receive. Pratt Library has partnered with the Census Bureau to emphasize the importance of this crucial service, and to provide assistance to residents once they receive their questionnaires.

Here at the Pennsylvania Avenue Branch, we're here to help residents in completing their questionnaires. Members of the Friends of the Pennsylvania Avenue Branch Library will be available Wednesday evenings starting March 24th to assist residents with the Census questions. Here are the details:

The Pennsylvania Avenue Branch has undergone several changes, and we're ready to show you what we've got! We have more computers for the public, both in the Adult and Childrens Areas. Plus, Pennsylvania Avenue now has wireless Web service for our customers. So, stop by and take a look at the changes we've made.
