Graphic Novels are LA Times Book Prize finalists!
The Los Angeles Times recently announced finalists for the 2009 Book Prizes. It is the 30th anniversary of the prize.
For the first time ever, the graphic novel was given its own category!
The five finalists in the graphic novel category this year are:

These days, everyone needs a little help! The Enoch Pratt Free Library is happy to accomodate its patrons with professional and friendly income tax assistance for absolutley no cost. The A.A.R.P. (American Association of Retired Persons) will be volunteering their time at four different Pratt locations to help senior citizens, low and middle income residents file their taxes professionally.
