Baltimore City Directories online
From Special Collections at the University of Maryland. About sixty digitized directories from the early 1800's to the 1920's. While not every directory (Baltimore City directories were published from 1796-1964), these are a great place to start.
Can be viewed online or downloaded in pdf or e-reader formats.
Church Records
The Maryland State Archives has created a Directory of Maryland Religious Institutions to identify religious organizations across the state. The Directory lists the church records in the Archives holdings.
