More About Us

Friends of the Light Street Branch

Through the years the Friends of the Light Street Branch have made significant changes to the library. The group has purchased a book drop, given $500 to enhance the children’s book collection and has enthusiastically and financially supported branch programs including the National Library Week Celebration, and Holiday Open House.  They fundraise by sponsoring two annual book sales, one in the autumn and the other in the spring. The Light Street Friends meet monthly on the second Thursday at 6:15pm. Meetings are open to all. New members are always welcome. For more information call the library at 410-396-1096.
