   Students from the University of MD School of Social Work will be available to assist anyone interested in registering for Health Care for All on Wednesday, December 2 from 6-8 pm.

Steve Luxenberg, author of Annie's Ghosts: A Journey Into a Family Secret, will talk about his mother's decision to keep her sister's existence a secret. Join him in discussing how and why family members choose to create secrets. The program begins at 6:30PM on Wednesday, November 18. Copies of his book will be available to buy.

   Look out, Papa John!! The Brooklyn kids are making homemade pizzas!

After spending a summer tending to Tom Thumb tomatoes, basil and oregano, the kids at the Brooklyn Branch harvested their bounty, cooked a tasty pizza sauce and started baking...

The pizzas, topped with spicy pepperoni, made the perfect autumn Saturday afternoon snack.  What's next? Well, checkout the broccoli growing on the window sills!
