Herring Run Branch Renovations

The Herring Run branch is undergoing an exterior refresh, funded by American Rescue Plan funding through the Mayor’s Office of Recovery Programs as well as through private support. This work includes upgrades or replacement of features like the entrance canopy, windows, and exterior concrete. A mural is also planned for an exterior wall.

This work is expected to be completed in Summer 2026, with some additional work (including the mural) scheduled for later summer to early fall. The exterior work is planned to take place while the branch is open, with minimal impact on services.
