Herring Run Branch Renovations
The Herring Run Branch is getting some upgrades! Learn more about the renovations and improvements coming to the Herring Run Branch.
The Herring Run branch has reopened on October 27, 2025 after Phase II of the renovation plan, including an HVAC replacement. While additional exterior work is planned for November, services and hours are not expected to be significantly impacted.
In 2024, the Herring Run location reopened after an interior refresh including reimagined computer spaces inside the branch, new furniture, flooring, and paint. In addition, this renovation includes revamping outdoor spaces with seating, a new mural, and commercial-grade LED lighting.
This renovation is being funded by American Rescue Plan funding through the Mayor’s Office of Recovery Programs, as well as private support.
