Are you looking for a long lost friend, relative, or acquaintance? In order to help you with your search we have compiled a list of the best sources of information on locating people, from general searches to helping you find an old army buddy.

General Resources
Telephone Numbers Subject Guide
Our librarians have created a subject guide of recommended websites and databases for finding telephone numbers.
Reverse Phone Directory
Find the address of a person or business by typing in their phone number. This will only work for published numbers.
Salvation Army Missing Persons Service
The Salvation Army will assist in locating missing persons. They will search for relatives only, including foreign countries, but not juvenile runaways or children kidnapped by another parent. Not set up for genealogy research or debt collection. Client should provide the missing person's full name, date of birth and missing person's parents full names and maiden name if possible.
Social Security Letter Forwarding
If you are still unable to find who you are looking for using the sources above, the Social Security Administration has a "letter forwarding" program in which a letter on a "matter of great importance" can be forwarded on your behalf to the missing person. There is a fee involved in this process.

Pipl
Pipl is designed to retrieve information from the deep web, including databases, contact details and other relevant information from personal profiles, member directories, scientific publications, court records etc.
Spock
Spock searches for information on biography pages, social networks, news sites, blogs and directories. You can also add and modify information that Spock finds about you on the internet.
Zaba Search
Zaba Search provides information on U.S. residents, including names, current and past addresses, phone numbers, and birth years.
