Tablets for Students
Digital tablets are available to borrow from the Pratt Library, allowing users to connect to free Wi-Fi. The devices will need to be picked up and returned at any of our Sidewalk Service locations.
Tablets are limited to one device each per account. There is a three week loan period, and they may be auto-renewed up to three times if there are no holds.

Tablets provide access to apps and also function as a hotspot.
You can connect up to three devices to free Wi-Fi. Tablets may only be borrowed by users ages 10 through 19, and users may borrow one device per account.
Tablets can be picked up at any of our Sidewalk Service locations.

Reserve a Tablet
Returning a Tablet
All devices are borrowed for three weeks and can be renewed up to three times as long as there are no holds. Data will be turned off on overdue devices.
Devices must be returned in person and may be returned to any Pratt Library branch. Please make a Sidewalk Service appointment to return the device.
Lost tablets cost $100. Once returned, fees will be removed for long overdue devices. Damaged devices and missing parts will be charged accordingly. Missing or damaged USB cables and adapters cost $8 each.
The library is not responsible for data uploaded or downloaded to the tablets. All data will be cleared from the tablet upon return.
