Online Library Card Registration
Library customers can now apply online if you live or own property in the state of Maryland.
How Does it Work?
Complete the online form that asks for basic information
Create a Personal Identification Number. (PIN).
You will be assigned a temporary library card number.
What Happens Next?
You will be able to place holds on library material immediately.
Within 14 days, you’ll need to complete the registration process in order to get a permanent library card. Just visit any Enoch Pratt Free Library location and provide identification.
Identification must include the applicant's name, signature and current address. Any combination of the following identification may be presented including:
- A valid driver's license
- Valid Maryland State identification
- Passport
- Military Identification
- Identification established via a postcard mailed from a Pratt Library
- Current employee identification
- A utility bill or lease document dated within past thirty days
Once you’ve completed your registration for a permanent library card, you’ll have access to a wealth of information, including using our databases.
