Remembering Governor William Donald Schaefer
BALTIMORE – As many in the City of Baltimore and the State of Maryland mourn the death of former Mayor and Governor William Donald Schaefer, the Enoch Pratt Free Library will have a live viewing of the memorial service on a jumbo 10x10 screen in the Central Library Main Hall.
William Donald Schaefer Memorial Service Viewing
Wednesday, April 27, 11am
Central Library Main Hall
400 Cathedral Street

"Governor William Donald Schaefer’s contribution and legacy to the city and state are immeasurable," said Carla D. Hayden, Chief Executive Officer of the Enoch Pratt Free Library. "We owe it to our patrons who cannot attend the memorial service at Old St. Paul’s Church an opportunity to watch the event on our jumbo screen. The Pratt Library has always shown important and history making events in the Central Library’s Main Hall: from man landing on the moon to the inauguration of President Obama. This will allow people to come together and mourn the passing of a great man."
