Healthcare in the Library
In partnership with the University of Maryland School of Nursing the Pratt Library is hosting nursing students, supervised by RNs, in four Pratt Library locations to provide free drop-in health assessments to Library customers.
In-Person Health Assessments
The students can assist with:
General health assessments
Blood pressure checks
Medicine education
Finding healthcare providers
Referrals for care
Health education and promotion
The students cannot assist with first aid, wound care, emergency services, diagnosis of illness, or vaccinations.
Anyone experiencing a medical emergency should call 911.

Brooklyn | Fridays, September 1 — November 17 (except November 10) from 11 am to 3:30 pm |
Central Library | Fridays, September 1 — November 17 (except November 10) from 11 am to 3:30 pm |
Southeast Anchor Library | Wednesdays, September 8 — November 17 (except November 10) from 11 am to 3:30 pm |
Waverly | Thursdays, September 7 — November 9 from 10 am to 4 pm |

At-Home COVID-19 Tests & Masks
The Pratt is offering a limited number of COVID-19 at-home rapid testing kits and KN-95 masks, while supplies last.

Social Worker in the Library
The Pratt is pleased to provide free assistance with social services to the community at five Library locations.
