Office of Equity & Fair Practice
The Office of Equity and Fair Practice (OEFP) is charged with helping the library advance its equity, diversity, and inclusion goals. The Office operates under the principle that every patron, customer, and employee has a right to feel seen, valued, heard, and supported.

Accessibility and Compliance
The Accessibility and Compliance staff within the Office of Equity and Fair Practice monitor and evaluate overall library accessibility to ensure library compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as well as other federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to people with disabilities. The Office focuses on accessibility of library programming, services, and spaces, both in-person and online, for every customer and employee. The Office also provides training and guidance to staff on accessibility services.
