Members of the Pratt Contemporaries will be joining members of the Pratt Society for a private reception with best-selling and award-winning author Meg Wolitzer.
The reception will be followed by a public Writers LIVE event where she talks about her book, The Interestings. It was named a best book of the year by Entertainment Weekly, Time, and The Chicago Tribune, and named a notable book by The New York Times Book Review and The Washington Post.

Enjoy a fun night with friends as you compete against teams for the title of Pratt Contemporaries Trivia Champ 2014. The competition has been fierce every year as teams try to answer questions like "What is MacGyver's first name?" or "Name the Pratt Library Branch Governor Martin O'Malley proposed to his wife Katie." Fun prizes for the winners.

Pratt Contemporaries Patron members and above will enjoy a fun road trip across the Bay Bridge for a rare tour of the Sloop Betty Vokda
Distillery in Stevensville, MD. Sloop Betty vodka recently earned a Gold Medal and 'Best in Show' at the New York World Wine & Spirit Competition. She also received a 94 point rating from the Tasting Panel magazine.
