Librarian, Roland Park Branch
Born and raised in Ohio, Brian has worked in libraries and bookstores, making his way from shelver to manager and back again in both fields. He graduated with a MA in History and a MLIS in Library Science from Kent State University. He is a habitual founder of and participant in book clubs and currently operates a Science Fiction/Fantasy Book Club called Other Worlds and a Nonfiction Book Club called Armchair Adventurers. Giving up all pretensions of coolness early in life, he has devoted himself to becoming a master of the "Dorkly Arts". Inspired by Bryan Cranston in Breaking Bad, he has recently rediscovered a love of hats that started at age 3 when he daringly paired a Gunsmoke Marshal Dillon hat with red footie pajamas.
