Your Enoch Pratt Free Library card provides free access to The New York Times! 

If you are on site at a library location:

1. Visit nytimes.com using any device. Ensure you are using the library’s WiFi connection.
2. Click the access link below to and click on “Log in” (upper right corner of the screen) to create a free account or log-in to your existing account. You do not need to make a new free account each time you access this resource.
3. You now have full access to all journalism on nytimes.com while logged in at the library.

Note: The NYT News App is not included as part of the onsite experience. You may redeem a 24-hour access code (see instructions below) to have access to the NYT News App from anywhere.

If you are accessing this database remotely (outside of the Pratt network), you may access nytimes.com journalism with a 24-hour access code:

1. Click the "view database" link below to verify your library card.
2. Your code will auto-populate. Click "redeem."
3. Either register for a free account (first time use) or log in to your existing account. You do not need to make a new free account each time you access this resource.
4. You will receive an email to your account address confirming your 24-hours of complimentary access to The New York Times, via nytimes.com and the NYT News App.
5. Once your 24-hour access code expires, you can simply repeat the process from Step 1 to redeem another 24-hour code.
