Business Education for Teens

Enoch Pratt Free Library has partnered with three dynamic youth programs to facilitate PRATTpreneur, a six-week entrepreneurship program for teens between the ages of 14–16 or in grades 9–11. The teens will ideate a business or product and prepare the business for launch!

Each week, the group will learn the fundamentals of business theory, how to build and maintain a sustainable business, and how to pitch their business to potential funders. The skills they learn such as public speaking, research, teamwork, critical thinking, writing/presenting, and so much more can be applied to their schoolwork and carried with them as they eventually enter the workforce.

Participating students will earn a final incentive as well as a branding package with logo themed table cloth, table top pull-up banner, t-shirt & hoodie, awarded upon full completion of the program.

2026 Cohort

The Summer 2026 Cohort dates are July 6–August 14, 2025.

Class sessions are Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday, from 10:30 am – 2:30 pm. Lunch is provided.
