Pratt Library Social Media Policy
The following policies apply to the Pratt Library social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram.
The Enoch Pratt Free Library social media sites serve as “limited public forums.” The Library reserves the right to monitor posted content and remove any messages that:
- are off topic
- are deemed abusive, vulgar, or defamatory
- are in violation of copyright or trademark
- are solicitations or advertisements for commercial products, political campaigns or services
- contain confidential information
The Library reserves the right to deny or remove any comments, tags, and/or images that violate the law, the rights of any third party, or library policies. The Library is not responsible for the content on the pages of friends, fans, or followers of the Library. The Library is not responsible for enforcing restrictions which a parent or guardian may place on a minor’s use of this resource.
