The Library offers customers free access to over 60 research databases. They contain scholarly journal articles, reports, images, newspapers and more, on a variety of topics. Here are a few examples:

Serials Librarian
As Serials Librarian at the Enoch Pratt Free Library, Lara orders, tracks, and processes over 3,000 print magazine and journal subscriptions for the Central Library and 22 branches. She also maintains orders for microfilm (which can be found in the Periodicals Department), and updates the data on the Pratt Electronic Newsstand. Before joining the Pratt, she was a Reference Librarian at Trinity University in Washington, D.C. She earned her MLS in 2008 from the University of Maryland’s iSchool. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, going to the movies, and spending time with friends and family.
