The Pratt is home to free exhibits and special displays that highlight important historical and cultural information.
- House of Melo: Where Tomorrows Are Promised
A landmark cultural exhibit honoring Baltimore native Carmelo Anthony on the occasion of his 2025 induction into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, at the Central Library until January 16, 2026. - The Civic Pride of the Baltimore Salt Box
Displayed at the Central Library in early 2025, this exhibit showcased a photo collection of salt boxes across the city. You can browse the collection online at Digital Maryland. - Soul of the Butterfly: Chicory Magazine and Baltimore’s Black Arts Activism
A 2022 exhibit telling the story of Black artist-activists in Baltimore with Chicory, a poetry magazine published by the Pratt Library from 1966-1983. Browse or search every issue of Chicory online at Digital Maryland. - Year of the Woman
Paying homage to the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, this 2020 exhibit marked the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, which gave the legal right to vote (suffrage) to women. Browse the PDFs to explore the exhibit.
