House of Melo: Where Tomorrows Are Promised
The Enoch Pratt Free Library is proud to present House of Melo: Where Tomorrows Are Promised, a landmark cultural exhibit honoring Baltimore native Carmelo Anthony on the occasion of his 2025 induction into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
Carmelo Anthony

Opening October 25, 2025 at the Central Library, the exhibit will transform our historic 350,000-square-foot building into House of Melo HQ. Visitors will experience rare artifacts, personal collections, and cultural mementos that highlight Anthony’s impact on sports, style, business, and social justice. The exhibit will remain on view through late December and is free and open to all.
This multi-layered celebration extends beyond the Central Library. Through public programs and neighborhood branch activations, the initiative reflects both Anthony’s legacy and the Library’s mission: to make culture, history, and opportunity accessible to everyone.
Curated by award-winning writer D. Watkins and creative director Khalilah Beavers, the exhibition offers a unique opportunity to explore unseen aspects of Anthony’s journey while celebrating the resilience and creativity of Baltimore.
The Pratt Library is honored to welcome the community to share in this historic moment. Additional details and digital elements will be available at TheHouseofMelo.com. More information about this exciting exhibit and related events will be announced as details become available, so check back and follow the Pratt Library on Facebook, Instagram, and X for up-to-date information.
