Rachel ScheuermanExecutive Operations Coordinator
Executive Operations Coordinator Rachel Scheuerman joined the Pratt in 2001. In this capacity, Rachel works with Pratt leadership and staff to successfully plan for, execute, monitor, control, and close projects delegated by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Additionally, she acts as Payroll Manager for the agency with total management and training responsibility, supervises and coordinates Office Support work, which includes the supervision of the Executive Assistant to the CEO, and coordinates the rental of Library Facilities to prospective renters.
Rachel is the winner of the Baker Award in 2014 and the Behind the Scenes Employee Award in 2011 and was instrumental in the renovation of the Hamilton Courtyard in November 2021. Recently, she has become more involved in Facilities related activities and is working towards creating a Master Facilities Plan for all branch locations.
As a Pratt employee, Rachel enjoys working with experienced, thoughtful, and supportive colleagues, helping people, and supporting the Library's mission in a variety of ways.
Prior to this role, Rachel has held roles as Special Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer, Information Access Division Special Assistant, Circulation Manager, and Office Assistant at the Pratt. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in English from UMBC.
