Program Details

Fall 2026

The theme for Fall 2026 is Sewing.

EPYC's Sewing cohort offers a unique opportunity to participate in an engaging and hands-on series. In this hand sewing and design program, students master essential hand sewing techniques while developing their creative vision from concept to completion. As one of the oldest textile arts, sewing provides students with practical life skills while encouraging them to express their creativity through fabric and design. Over four weeks, our structured curriculum progresses from fundamental hand stitching techniques to a finished creative project, ensuring students build confidence and competency at every level through hands-on practice and personalized instruction.

In Fall 2026, the Pratt Library will host four EPYC cohorts. There is a limited space in each cohort.

Each cohort will meet weekly for four sessions:

September 29October 22
October 27November 24

You will only participate in EPYC at one single branch location.
