Lauryn Reynolds
Special Assistant to the CEOLauryn joined the Pratt Library in May 2025 as Special Assistant to the CEO.
In her role at the Library, Lauryn works with the CEO to translate his vision into action across Library departments. She helps manage various initiatives, special projects, and the CEO’s overall workload. She is especially passionate about the work the Library does to promote early literacy across the city and inspire a lifelong love of literature in the community. To her, Baltimore is still and always will be the city that reads.
Prior to joining the Pratt, she worked in the Howard County Executive’s administration as Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff. In that role, she spearheaded many community events, staffed county commissions, and developed ongoing programs, all while helping the COS manage priorities and executive initiatives.
Lauryn appreciates the wide range of events at the Library—there’s always something exciting going on! When not at the library, you can usually find her reading, running, or at the movies. She holds a B.A. in Government and African American Studies from Georgetown University.
