Summer Break Baltimore 2026 has wrapped up after a successful summer of reading, events, and activities! From June 15 through August 15, thousands of participants used BINGO cards with Chessie the Chesapeake Bay sea monster to log their reading and other summer activities.

All participants received a free book to keep and kick-start their summer reading. BINGO winners were eligible for a limited edition Summer Break Baltimore 2026 t-shirt, sticker pack, or mini beach ball. Completing rows of BINGO earned raffle entries to win prizes for summer fun, including admission to the Maryland Science Center and National Aquarium, Orioles baseball tickets, a Maryland Zoo family membership, and a Nintendo Switch 2.
