Wesley Wilson joined the Pratt Library in 1969. As Chief of the Central Library and State Library Resource Center, Wesley oversees the Central Library public service subject departments. The Library's subject departments provide access to the Library's collections, and department staff provide reference and research assistance to customers and develop public programs and training.
In his time at the Pratt Library, Wesley has spearheaded initiatives to increase the visibility of the Library's State Library Resource Center role, develop partnerships strengthening the Library's role in supporting the economic infrastructure of the City and State, and provide support and development for the expansion of programs in the areas of workforce development and small business. Under his leadership, the Central Library and State Library Resource Center will continue to reach all Library customers however they access the Library and provide outstanding reference, research, programming, and training opportunities based on customer needs.
Wesley holds a Bachelor degree in Art History and English Literature.
