This Web site hopes to help people reduce their risk of becoming sick from foodborne illness. The FightBac! program is sponsored by the Partnership for Food Safety Education (PFSE). PFSE is a not-for-profit organization that unites industry associations, professional societies in food science, nutrition and health, consumer groups, and the U.S. government to educate the public about safe food handling and foodborne illness.
The Home Safety Council is dedicated to preventing home related injuries that result in nearly 20,000 deaths and 21 million medical visits on average each year.
