Plagiarism is the act of using someone’s ideas, expressions, or thoughts without crediting the author and presenting them as your own. You may paraphrase a statement or quote “word for word” parts of a source as long as you report where they originated from. There are instances where students have been disciplined (dismissed from school) because of plagiarism.
