The Collection

The collection of some 10,000 volumes features regional and urban planning materials with a focus on local demographic information, economic development, transportation planning, land use, and environmental issues. It contains many items specific to the member jurisdictions of the Batimore Metropolitan Council:

  • Baltimore City
  • Anne Arundel County
  • Baltimore County
  • Carroll County
  • Harford County
  • Howard County

The use of the library and the help of the librarian is free. You will have to pay for photocopies and to borrow books. Fees are also charged for customized demographic reports and for accessing some electronic sources. We will always tell you ahead of time what the fees are.
