Introduction
The Regional Information Center is a special library operated as a partnership between the Enoch Pratt Free Library and the Baltimore Metropolitan Council. Since September 2010 it has been located in the Council's offices at 1500 Whetstone Way, Suite 300 (near the intersection of Fort Avenue and Woodall Street) in Locust Point.
The collection of some 10,000 volumes features regional and urban planning materials with a focus on local demographic information, economic development, transportation planning, land use, and environmental issues.
The library is open to the public between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on weekdays (Mondays through Fridays). Appointments are necessary to ensure that someone will be available to help you. We may be able to give you the information you need over the phone as well. Peter Devereaux, the Center's manager, may be reached by phone (410-732-9570), fax (410-732-9488) or e-mail: ric@prattlibrary.org
