Introduction

The Regional Information Center is a special library operated as a partnership between the Enoch Pratt Free Library and the Baltimore Metropolitan Council. It is located in the Council's offices at 2700 Lighthouse Point East, Suite 310 (in the 2700 block of Boston Street) in Canton.

The collection of some 10,000 volumes features regional and urban planning materials with a focus on local demographic information, economic development, transportation planning, land use, and environmental issues.

The library is open to the public between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on weekdays (Mondays through Fridays). Appointments are necessary to ensure that someone will be available to help you. We may be able to give you the information you need over the phone as well. Mary Logan, the Center's manager, may be reached by phone (410-732-9570), fax (410-732-9488) or e-mail: ric@prattlibrary.org
