
Frank Zappa Headlines at the Pratt!
I’m ashamed to admit that although I had heard the name: “Frank Zappa” before, I didn’t really know who he was (let alone why in the world Pratt Library would want a 15 foot statue of his head sitting out in front of the Southeast Anchor Library). I did a bit of personal research and discovered that he was from Baltimore, MD which piqued my interest. I decided to listen to some of his music. As it turns out, Frank was a bit of a lyrical genius, although, you really have to be listening. Zappa had a lot to say and was an advocate for freedom of speech.
