Vampires for Some, Ghost for Others

The Undead Next Door by Kerrelyn Sparks

Does your man sleep all day... which would be annoying except he's so attentive at night. He never seems to age. There is something not quite right about Jean-Luc, but he's so charming, so attractive, and so wonderful...

Ghosthunters and the Gruesome, Invisible, Lightning Ghost! by Cornelia Funke

He had barely spoken the words when the GILIG raised its head with a start.  Tom looked into its hideous eyes.  They were black, as black as coal.  tom's legs started to tremble ever so slightly.

Put Some Warm Blood in Your Cool Fall Evenings

Want to branch out from Sookie Stackhouse (Harris, Charlaine, Dead Series aka HBO's True Blood) and those good ole southern vampires?  Add some hot blood to those cool fall evenings with urban vampires, angels, and demons.

Banks, L. A. (Vampire Huntress Series)

Battling demonic infections that threaten to destroy humankind and finding a stolen key that will break the sixth seal foretold in the Book of Revelation is all in a day's work for lovers Damali Richards, vampire huntress extraordinaire and Carlos Rivera, drug king by day and master vampire by night.

Adrian, Lara (Midnight Breed Series)

The Breed, vampire warriors flavor their eternal struggle with the renegade Rogues with mortal romance.

Ward, J. R. (Black Dagger Brotherhood)

Meet the vampiric Black Dagger Brotherhood, immortal peace enforcers, fierce warriors, and legendary lovers of mortal women.

Hamilton, Laurell (Anita Blake, the gal who started a trend)

Anita re-animates the dead and slays the undead with aplomb until she falls in love with Jean-Claude, Master Vampire of the City. Unable to reconcile her career as slayer and a vampire lover, she finds love with Richard--who mysteriously disappears when the sun sets.

Davidson, MaryJanice (Queen of the Vampire Series)

Fashionista Betsey Taylor, loves fashion especially designer shoes, goes walkabout from a fatal car crash only to discover that she is the prophesied Queen of the Vampires.  Hilarious chick lit with a bloody twist.
