History of theĀ Herring Run Branch
The Herring Run Branch #29 of Enoch Pratt Free Library was open on February 27,1963. The site for the library was donated by Erdland Company who were real estate developers in Northeast secton of Baltimore, the architects were Locke and Jackson. It is located in the Northeast section of Baltimore. The library was planned to accomondate the population that was moving out of older traditional neighborhoods of Baltimore into the new urban suburban neighborhoods of the Belair-Edison community.
