The Maryland Room is located on the second floor of the Annex in the Enoch Pratt Central Library, at 400 Cathedral Street. Enter the building and go straight back to the end of the hall. Turn right and go to the end. When you reach the entrance to the African American Department, take the elevator or stairs to the second floor.
Introduction
Dating back to its opening in 1934, the Maryland Department of the Enoch Pratt Free Library has been responsible for a collection of materials relating to the history, economics, social conditions, literature and the arts and all aspects of the development and status of Maryland and its citizens.
