Who: Anyone: babies to rising 5th graders
What: A free program that gives you prizes just for reading
When: June 1- August 3, 2013
Where: All Enoch Pratt Free Library locations
Why: It's free, fun, and you can Read Down Your Fines!
How: Go to your local library and ask to sign up for the reading program. Write down the titles of the books you read (or someone reads to you) on the "Dig Into Reading" reading log, or color in one circle on the time tracker for every 15 minutes you read. After you've read or listened to 4 books or for 4 hours

This summer, try out our new activity board for infants and toddlers: each activity on the board helps develop literacy skills in young
children, and you'll earn prizes after completing 4 activities and a T-shirt after
completing 8 activities.



Ask your librarian for suggestions, pick up a bookmark designed by Baltimore city kids, or check out our summer reading suggestions by age level:

This summer, make sure that you check out all that Baltimore City is offering for kids: learning academies, free meals, Summer Reading, and other fun programs.
