Summer Reading for Children: Dig Into Reading banner (tunnel at night with reading moles)
Who: Anyone: babies to rising 5th graders
What: A free program that gives you prizes just for reading
When: June 1- August 3, 2013
Where: All Enoch Pratt Free Library locations
Why: It's free, fun, and you can Read Down Your Fines!

How: Go to your local library and ask to sign up for the reading program. Write down the titles of the books you read (or someone reads to you) on the "Dig Into Reading" reading log, or color in one circle on the time tracker for every 15 minutes you read. After you've read or listened to 4 books or for 4 hours, come back to the library to get a free prize. Once you have read or listened to 8 books or for 8 hours total, you get the T-shirt shown below (while supplies last) and are invited to your local library's End of Summer Reading Party! As a special summer bonus, for every book/hour you read, you can earn one Pratt Buck toward reading down the fines on your library card account.
