Playright, actor, storyteller and humorist, Kevin Kling has expressed himself in a variety of ways: TV, radio, theatre, books and recordings, as well as at storytelling festivals and performances in schools, libraries, colleges and universities. He has been a regular contributor to NPR’s All things considered.”  In his younger years, he led a life of adventure, hopped freight trains, joined a circus, and traveled widely. His journeys took him to Sweden, Czechoslovakia, Australia, Scotland, England and Turkey, among others. His 2001 motorcycle accident left him temporarily paralyzed. Kevin grew up in Osseo, Minnesota, and graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1979 with a B.A. in Theatre. He has received numerous awards and prizes. His writing and performing continue unabated and his plays are being produced in theaters across the U.S. and abroad. Kevin’s stories and monologues are poignant and hilarious, drawing listeners to his peculiar world. Kevin_Kling
